Custom made 14 karat yellow gold pendant/brooch containing one black South Sea pearl measuring 8.5 mm in diameter, and twelve (12) round, brilliant cut fine diamonds with a total weight of .24 carat. The pearl, which is of an interesting bronze black color, has thick and well develope nacre with outstanding lustre. The diamonds are well cut and of good make, very nicely matched as a group. Graded by G.I.A. standards, diamond clarity is VVS and diamond color is F. The design is openwork, with textured flower petals. The brooch pin closes with a safety latch, and the hidden pendant bail opens and locks, so the piece could be worn either on a chain or on a pearl strand. This uniquely beautiful jewel, designed and made by Philip Wolfe, measures 1-7/8" in diameter and will be shipped gift boxed.
