For pierced ears - - - 14 karat yellow four prong basket-style earstuds containing oval cut imperial or precious topaz from Brazil, each topaz crowned with three round brilliant cut diamonds. The topazes are a rich gold with flashes of pink and orange and weigh a total of 1.97 carats for both gems. Well cut and polished, they measure 7.0 mm long x 5.0 mm wide, and are flawless under 10X magnification. The diamonds are well cut and polished and well matched as a group. Total diamond weight is .16 carat. Graded by G.I.A. standards, diamond clarity is VS1 and diamond color is G. Gift boxed.

Imperial or precious topaz is the long-established traditional birthstone for November. Since imperial topaz is exceedingly expensive, citrine (yellow quartz) was added as an alternative birthstone due to its more affordable price structure. Topaz as a birthstone will also include the blue, pink or silve (clear) varieties.
