Incredible bright pink color, nothing shy about this gem; beautifully cut and polished; of interest to a gem collector, one single rutile needle extends from the center of the culet to the center of the table facet, which, when viewed through the table, creates an opticle "circle" of needles, when, in truth, there is only one (takes a very skilled cutter to create this effect); kunzite measures 23.0mm long x 15.0mm wide x 13.0mm deep; rather too deep for a ring, but would really make a stunning custom-designed pendant; source is Brazil.
